Richard Branson believes the key to success is a three-day workweek. With today's cutting-edge technology, he believes there is no reason people can't work less hours and be equally — if not more — effective.

Maybe this is already brought up in he comments but in a trade industry like painting (I’m a contractor) there will always be another company willing to work those extra hours and in turn will get more business and because that opportunity that always exists I can’t imagine a day where the industry is leveled out to the point that even 51% of companies are following that model. The main drive there isn’t even greed. It’s profit margin. In order to pay bills those industries will be 5-7 day a week jobs. Unless you’re willing to pay double for a paint job (no one is) then the full work week isn’t going anywhere.

Am I understanding this incorrectly?
