Richard Sherman defends Kaep; calls out the Jets and Blake Bortles.

There are about 5 or 6 reasons he doesnt have a job.

Donald Sterling showed theres still plenty of of old ideas in the old money that own these teams. He was worried about his billionaire buddies making fun of him.

There are coaches that dont want players using the team or the game as a soapbox.

He is an RPO QB. He put up efficient numbers running RPO while being down double digits every game. Cant take his numbers from last year out of context.

You can call him a top 32 QB but the reality is you have teams that have a top 20 QB and 10 other teams that are looking for the next top 20 QB. Theres no market for a QB like that. Look at Fitz last year and Cutler this year (who said fuck it and went to the booth).

He opted out of a contract that paid him starter money. I dont know how much he wants now, but he definitely lost the game of musical chairs by trying to get a starting job. Its disingenuous to say every time a team signs a QB that Kaep was a good fit for that role at that price.

To be honest, the Jets probably check every box above.
