A close family member of mine has her daughter enrolled in a private religious school, but cannot afford the tuition costs on her own, rather the tuition is paid through grants. She consistently insists on how much better private schools are and advocates that others put their children in private schools.

Now imagine this whacky scenario: the entire K-12 population being put through private schools wholly subsidized by grant money! Bear in mind that this woman fails to understand the irony of that sentiment, and votes accordingly. The right certainly knows how to manipulate the dimmest blue collar workers into voting against their best interest.
