I feel the same about people who don't fly but live in the middle of nowhere so have to drive everywhere, I take 2-3 flights a year but I live in centrally and 90% of my journey's are on foot, the other 10% are on public transport, I also live in a very efficient home and even now only have the heating on maybe 1-2 hours a day.

I think basically you have to look at your own life / needs and do what you can, we can all save a bit here or there but telling people they should not fly or drive a particular vehicle (or not use straws) is just shifting the blame onto consumers when the real damage is done by corporations and Governments.
