Richest people in UK ‘use more energy flying’ than poorest do overall

I guarantee that in other areas of your life you have wasteful things. I bet you have a TV, a fridge, lamps. Right? All these use energy that you don’t need to use if only you scaled back your conveniences.

To you, these things are part of normal life. For a very poor person they are not. To the moderately wealthy, flights are a part of normal life, maybe to you they are not.

You’re a hypocrite, using your own life as the benchmark for what the average person “needs”, just like any semi wealthy person would. That’s why you get the responses you do, because your definition of overuse is anything above what you personally consume.

A poor person would probably look at you just the same way you look at the wealthy.
