Rick And Morty Creator Used Controversial AI Art, Voice Acting In New Shooter

Stop being a bitter, entitled artist and adapt to the changing world around you.

I mean, I see your point, but artists have been exploited and underpaid by society for so long. Whether it's record studios ripping off the musicians who create the music, people taking illustrators' art without paying for it, content creators being paid pennies while site owners take the lion's share of advertising revenue, or people downloading cracked games for free, artists have been on the one hand valued immeasurably (everyone loves music, art, and games and endlessly demands more of these things) and on the other completely devalued and under-appreciated (people expect it to be cheap/free because artists are passionate enough to keep doing what they do, despite literally starving). I think they have every right to be pissed and every right to see this as just another way their work is being exploited and taken advantage of without reward and respect.

The simple fact is, you don't have Midjourney without the blood, sweat, and tears of countless artists who put their financial lives in jeopardy to produce the art that enriches all of our lives. It's built on their backs, without acknowledging them in the slightest. The "keep up with technology!" spiel is just another layer of disrespect, in my opinion.

To be clear, I'm not saying we should reject AI art. I'm saying we should respect artists more as a society. We should make sure they can learn, experiment, produce, etc, without starving. That goes for many different crucial fields that are under-rewarded and disrespected.
