[Rifle] FN 15 5.56 Carbine 16" $789.00 + $9.99 shipping

I've read the spec sheet. FN didn't give you an answer, so you're going around saying their barrel material is inferior. BCM did give an answer and stated explicitly that 4150 grade steel is required to conform to MIL-B-11595E. Again BCM uses FN barrels, and again FN conforms to MIL-B-11595E with their barrels on the FN15, meaning the steel is of 4150 grade.

FN cannot be giving 4140 barrels and calling it MilSpec, as MilSpec in MIL-B-11595E requires 4150 grade steel per BCM. If they in fact, are not making 4150 barrels and they are 4140 barrels, then show some actual proof besides, "I called FN and they didn't answer my question."

You're bringing a spec sheet into this that doesn't mention 4140 anywhere on it, and assuming that the carbon amount means they can include 4140 steel when that is false based on what BCM says.

The original topic here was that FN is using 4140 barrels, and you've failed to show proof that is the case.
