Right outside my polling place - is this not electioneering?

my polling place is accessed though the side entrance to an elementary school, and the only way to get to the entrance to the school is via a walkway between the school and a fenced-in playground. Last November was the first time in 20 yrs of living here that I found myself accosted by a candidate's volunteer on election day. This woman stood at the entrance to the walkway, getting in everyone's face (during covid) and asking them to vote for her son. I live across the street and saw that she was there all day, into the night. Her car had a giant advertisement for her son plastered on the back and the car was parked near the entrance to the walkway as well. I complained to the policeman in the school, and he said that they had gotten other complaints about her, but she is 100 feet from the entrance so there is nothing they can do. When I left the polling place, she must have been taking a break in her car, because she starting calling out to me from the car itself. I had some words with her, I was so angry. When I voted early last week, candidates and volunteers for several people were camped out, calling to me to come talk to them as I tried to avoid engaging with them. One candidate told me to get out of the street and walk on the sidewalk, where he was standing. Today, at the polling place across the street, I saw two encampments of Yang bros on the street, and at least four of them near the entrance to the walkway. I feel like these volunteers are getting more aggressive near the polling sites. One should not feel they have to dodge these people just to go and vote.
