Right seriously, enough is enough, this has gone too far....

One of my best friends spent three weeks in ICU, was hours away from being ventilated until his oxygen levels came back up . He spent two weeks in the level below that and was released on Friday. Saturday morning he had to go back in again, they think his stay could be a further number of weeks. He was very healthy (53 year old and some here will think thats ancient).

I have an entire side of my family now all infected. The grandmum, grandad, the husband and wife and their three kids. They caught because they weren't socially distancing or taking care of themselves otherwise. They were spreading themselves and their kids in about 10 different bubbles. They are only a week or so in but I do not want to put my family under the same pressure.

I have extensive family that work in the NHS. Nurses on the wards and in some cases running the wards. I know well the state they are in.

I'm sure I'll be out for pints shortly after first vaccine but will be mostly holding back until 2-3 weeks after my 2nd vaccine.

There is nothing to gain from rushing out, i'll miss out a few beers here or there but with who?? lol. Otherwise I'm fine sitting in the house/out the back when the sun comes back.
