LINDA, Calif. — A man seen on video in a violent home invasion in Linda last October was sentenced to 11 years to life in state prison, the Yuba County District Attorney’s Office said Monday.

Daniel Solis, 31, pretended to drop off a delivery at the Linda home before pushing his way inside and stabbing the homeowner.

After the residents open the door, the suspect is seen holding up a knife and is heard telling them to get inside as he walks in.

Solis received his sentence Monday after being found guilty of attempted murder.

The homeowner spent several days in the hospital recovering from the stabbing and a collapsed lung.
