RiotLyte ask.fm about voice chat

I think there's sort of an echo chamber effect going with your examples of "highly asked features", Reddit and the style of players that inhabit here are almost certainly not even close to a majority of the player base.

replays.

Would be pretty nice. But again I have the feeling that the percentage of players that would use them regularily would probably be in the range of like 10%.

new client.

Would certainly be nice and IIRC they already said they're working on it. Somehow I feel most players wouldn't really care much about a new client unless they're having specific issues with the current one like bugs or memory leaks.

sandbox mode.

Couldn't hurt but I think even less people would really use it even than replays.

voice chat.

I can't speak for others but I would really rather there was no voice chat. I don't want to have to talk and hear a bunch random teenagers in order to play the game or be at a disadvantage.

But they could certainly improve on non verbal forms of communications like the ping system.

magma chamber.

Uh? they specifically said they cancelled it because they looked at the data and decided nowhere near enough people would actually play it. It's one of those things that sounds cool in theory but when you actually get to it, it's rather boring. Remember that temporary mode where you could pick champions for the other team? every time it was suggested the consensus was how fun it would be, when it actually came out most realized they really didn't like it.

Ao Shin.

Ehm, what?

AS was just a really early champion concept they decided to show, then they stated they couldn't make him work. It's not a feature, they just decided to try something different and shows an early champion concept that ended up not working, which I doubt they will ever do again given how people have clung to it as some sort of failed promise.
