RIP his childhood

As someone who isn't native English and was a former grammar nazi himself (in German) - fuck perfection. I live in Asia now and so many people don't want to talk English because they are scared they are making mistakes. I always tell them it's fine to make mistakes, it's only important that you understand.

The same goes for Reddit. Not everyone here is a native english speaker and by calling out simple mistakes you just make a lot of people not wanting to write again anymore. Sure you could argue now that people just shouldn't be pussies but at the end of the day... Does it REALLY matter if the grammar is right AS LONG as you get what they are saying?
