Hey!
So here comes some critique. I had a lot of comments, but overall I think you're on the right track. I know how hard it is to be objective about your own site, so hopefully my comments help.
Don't cry too much! You've already exceeded most people who never even get started on achieving their goals. Congratulations on getting started, and best wishes for your career!
OK, here comes the hard stuff:
You have quite a few grammar and style errors that need to be corrected. For example, "Always offering extreme dedication to whatever project I taken on board".
Where are you located? Your Elance profile says you're in NSW, but your unfinished degree suggests you're in NB.
"She is undergoing an ongoing completion..." is awkward, change the words so the undergoing/ongoing aren't both there. There are several instances like this where your writing is technically correct, but could be polished for better flow.
There's way too much writing. Nobody is going to read all that. Use your journalism training. Keep it tight, tight, tight with simple language. Use a lead sentence. Make it about the services you provide, and how you will make clients' lives easier, not so much about your personal history and experience.
Don't refer to yourself as aspiring, you introduce the idea that you are inexperienced or not really a writer. Fake it til you make it. You are a writer. That's all your potential clients need to know.
I would consider adding related photos to your samples page, make it more like a glam e-mag type site with interesting articles that people will want to click. The current list of URLs isn't interesting, or selling your work.
You know the saying jack of all trades, master of none? I think this applies to your freelance business too. Right now you list a bit of everything, PR, marketing, editing, etc. Pick one thing and sell yourself as an expert in that field. Decide you're an entertainment content creator, or you're a small business copy specialist, or whatever and sell yourself as a master of that field.
I love a graphic eyeliner and boho top, but I think you should seriously reconsider your personal photos. Right now they have an "I need extra cash for bonnaroo" vibe. For your public site and client meetings, you need a really put-together, professional look. That doesn't mean you can't look modern and stylish, but it does need to be sleek and tidy, and a bit more conservative. By all means rock whatever look you want in your professional time, though.
You also need to resize your photos, and have higher res to look professional. The one at the top of your personal page is a weird size, I would choose something wider to go with your layout. And why is your Elance photo on it's side? It isn't clear if that's a mistake or an attempt to be edgy.
