The Rise and Fall of Affirmative Action

Racial bias once again correlates to poverty in standardized testing. Standardized testing being a good metric for about nothing but how much time and money you can dump into prepping for it has been known for a long time now. Poor whites and Asians that have no time nor money to prep for standardized tests do just as poorly as poor blacks on examinations like the LSAT, MCAT, and GRE. Once again, the standard is socioeconomic, with blacks and other minorities being disproportionately represented by poverty, and concurrently having poorer standardized test scores. The same follows through for primary education test scores, lower income districts have poorer preparation for standardized tests.

I would be curious though as to hear what you believe the racial basis to be on. It's almost as if you're insinuating that the test is some how specifically geared against specific races, and I would be curious to hear how you believe that to be done, outside of a socioeconomic factor. Thinking about the problem as you present it, while excluding socioeconomic factors, there's only one conclusion I come to, and I don't like it, nor would I think you would either.
