Rise of Iron is a perfect time to re-release The Queen's Wrath event.

I thought the Queens wrath event was before HOW are am I mistaken

There were two events involving Petra in early Destiny.

Queen's Wrath commonly refers to the event Bungie had before The Dark Below that was something of a mess. It was an event with tedious quests, like defeat three devil walkers and it typically didn't count a kill unless you landed the finishing blow, which turned in for a voucher to do a story quest. The story quest would have modifiers like a nightfall and were generally a pain in the ass. Finishing them would give one of two pieces (helmet or chest) of legendary armor that could go up to level 29 and have a chance at a dropship and a sniper.

The issue with the event was that it didn't have a lot of long term value and riddled with problems. Like I don't think it was even possible to hit rank 3 without doing every bounty every day and doing the reset bounty glitch (If you're on when the bounties change you could do them and then get another chance at them when you signed back in). The other issue is that there was no point in running the missions a bunch of times. Since the gear was not top tier, there was no point in getting a perfect roll and the gear itself didn't give materials after day like two or three. The event was said to be put back in the oven and that was the last we heard of it.

House of Wolves brought back a different event for Petra before House of Wolves. This event had a single bounty where you needed to go around the worlds and kill a specific enemy. Those who completed all of them that week earned a unique emblem.
