Robert Reich: "Senate Republicans have refused to vote to reopen the U.S. government, but have no problem voting to lift sanctions on a Russian oligarch. That should tell you a lot about their priorities."

Oh, spare me the condescension. I didn't belittle your fundamental freedoms and rights, I believe in them and think they are absolutely worth fighting for. I was deploring their current demise, but the word 'freedom' coming from a GOP/Neocon is propaganda, pure and simple.

Are there innumerable statements of exasperated comments/articles/op-eds, daily? Yes.

Do large parts of the constituency now acknowledge the complicity of Trump and a large part of the GOP? Yes.

Is the Supreme Court stacked in favor of the GOP? Yes.

Is there gerrymandering, voter exclusion, large-scale regulatory capture, and de-emancipatory initiatives? Yes.

------

Are there any noteworthy protests or strikes? No.

------

Should there be? I say, yes.

It is regrettable that you feel this is somehow an attack on you or US citizens. It is not, save for maybe the die-hard Trump and GOP base, who are either brainwashed with propaganda or immoral.

Sincerely,

A concerned 12 year old friend.
