Has Rocket League changed you for the good or for the bad? (My story)

I think you need to try to take pleasure in the other things in life. The important things like spending time with your wife. She's your wife for a reason, just like my gf is my gf for a reason. I do play RL too much, but I also love hanging out with my gf and the thing is, I know that RL will be waiting for me once we're done with whatever it is we're doing.
And truthfully, there are RL sessions where it's no longer fun but you keep playing anyway just out of boredom and because there's nothing better to do. But that's not true for either one of us; there IS almost always something better to do. I think RL would be a lot more fun if I only played it for maybe an hour every day. It would be quality over quantity. Sure it would be frustrating to be at work and just think about playing, but that's kinda the key to life in a way - balancing it between boring and fun and you really appreciate the fun more when there are boring stretches. And there always is unless you're a millionaire who can do whatever you want.
Idk, I was going somewhere with this but I forgot what it was. I think you can turn it around though for sure.
