Roger Waters tells Facebook CEO to Zuck off after 'huge' song rights request

Well now that I had some time to think I would say to be fair he probably did a few things he thought was in the best interest of Floyd. He wanted to make their shows more theatrical and wanted the band to profit as much as they could off their music. Now that in itself isn’t so bad given most people would want to make as much money off their own product but Gilmour himself said that he didn’t like the way Waters was wanting to take the band. Gilmour was about the music and Rogers was about making Floyd an act in a sense. That’s where I see the greed coming in. Pink Floyd was already doing very well in record sales and live performances but Rogers wanted to commercialize them more. I guess it’s unfair for me to call Rogers a greedy POS since I have no idea about what their lives are like but too many great bands have been destroyed from members wanting to shift main focus from music and the message to profits. He’s probably still passionate about music and PF but I don’t get the impression that he truly believes in the music anymore. But that’s just my opinion
