Romanian here, regarding the Moldavian wedding stuff

Ok, I haven't finished the most recent episode, but (fried chicken and burger comment aside), I didn't think the food comment was that far off. I'm eastern European and my husband is American. There is a lot of food my family makes my husband loves, and a lot he can't or won't eat. My husband can taste something and decide whether his parents would like it or not and even after being married for 5 years and trying a lot of traditional food, he wouldn't feel comfortable picking an Eastern European menu for his family based on pictures alone. Yeah, they should be more adventurous traveling in a foreign country and experience the culture, but there are still some foods that are more or less easier to try as a foreign person and some that are more acquired tastes.
