The next tribal was a direct result of the paranoia that ensued after the Eric vote-off.

Gavin would not have won against most others, not just Chris the returnee -- so he was not positioned well

Gavin probably couldn't beat many people at all but that's unrelated to the Eric vote.

I guess we'll have to disagree about the Eric vote off being a "bad move". I see no problem with him cutting Eric and going a different direction. And I fail to see how Julia running her mouth at tribal is Gavin's responsibility.
