Ron Paul standing up for what's right and against the war hawks pitching the US and Russia against each other. Respect.

Since I've typed this put and some a-hole deleted his comment, here are my useless thoughts anyway. Waste of time...

I think you are tripping a little if you think that Trump is Putin's puppet. It's pretty absurd. Russian state media is running fairly skeptical view on Trump, which makes me think it's the official position of Kremlin. I wouldn't be surprised if relations are going to deteriorate by the end of the year and go back to "normal" US foreign policy. But at the same time US can't really make more enemies. For what it's worth there were recent reports of Chinese statesmen claiming that US-China confrontation is possible. So let's see, US wants to continue their policy towards Russia AND get challenged by China in the near future? Let's get real... US-Russian relations are only to benefit US, why wouldn't Trump go for it? He obviously doesn't care, he is an outsider, no reputation to worry about like old Republicans. So what if he tries to make a 180 turn towards Russia? If Republicans in the office sit silent of approve then all that means is that this what they want. The bottom line is that Kremlin pushed back on American policies and while Russia is taking a hit I don't think that US can continue on the same path as well. Time to play smart and smooth things out because the real threat is from the East, far East.
