Root Chakra Blocked

Try standing up, deep mouth breathing with your neck tilted down a bit, jaw dropped a bit, and a slight frown spreading the sides of your mouth downward. You'll feel the side muscles of your jaw and neck sort of stretch with this pose. Then bend your knees a bit so that your very lower back feels relaxed, and then spread your legs wide a bit(This will allow your energy to drive even further down). See if you can feel the air go way you down to to the area below your belly button(into your genitals basically). Then make low, gutteral noises to internally massage the lower breath organs and help them relax, and also kick into gear if they've shut off(which happens to a ton of people). The noises should come from the area in the very back of your throat. You'll hear your tone get deeper when you do this. Your diaphragm or stomach(if you go a bit deeper) will also involuntarily suck in if you are making the correct tone. Then if you go even deeper(which takes practice for most), you can make a deep tone that you feel coming straight from below your belly button at your root. These vocal massages with the correct posture, will wake up the maybe sleepy or underused organs way down there. It will also relax some of the rigid maybe tense upper body muscles preventing you from breathing deeper. Make sure not to damage your voice if you feel pain of course and trust your own range, which will increase overtime with this workout. This is my method and I feel deeply grounded after every time I do it. I used to laugh at so called "mouth breathers" but if done properly, it allows more breath in and drives the breath much deeper into the body. It also gets you out of your head, whereas nose breathing sort of traps you in it(which was my case for a long time). Anyway, good luck and I hope my more physical and less mental method can help.
