I found a lot of people that like her. I don't hate her but it took me a while to warm to her. Something about a posh woman putting on a northern accent. Felt like her and her mum were playing into northern stereotypes at times. She worked well with the two doctors which is the main thing that warmed me to her. I started to see tgat what RTD was going for - ordinary girl becomes extrordinary in the righy circumstances.

My only other critism of Rose is that they really ruined Martha's character by being unable to let go of her character. Why did Martha have to have a crush on the doctor? What was with all the Rose references after she was gone? Did they want us to see Martha as a discount Rose? Martha could have been an interesting character in her own right.If they had expanded on the things that made her unique. Thank goodness they changed things up with Donna.
