Roth IRA not performing

For reference, QQQ is up 1% just today.

My bet is that your cash is simply sitting in cash core. Your 401k likely auto-selected a target retirement fund, or you set one up and forgot. An IRA account is different, you have far more flexibility (and input required) so unless you specifically instructed your broker to invest in specific shares when you set up the account and have contributions to automatically to that account, my bet is that it is just sitting in cash core.

Go into your account and look at your positions. If you have no positions other than the cash core, then there's your problem. The world is your oyster, take your time to decide what fits your investment profile.

While you are at it, turn on auto-reinvestment of dividends.
