Round 1, Pick 31: The Patriots select Georgia RB Sony Michel

All the info I'm being told on this thread about the Pats sticking to their board firmly means we should be prepared for the possibility of very few/no picks used on defense.

No one can come on here and insist that they KNOW the Pats will use later round picks on D when we're being clearly told they will stick to their board and they don't draft for need.

After all, if there is a run on D from other teams and Pats have RBs, OGs, WRs, Speical Teams aces, and Punters on their draft board ranked ahead, then we could just stock up all over the place and ignore the D.

If Bill wants 8 RBs going into camp, he can have it. After all, he'd be picking based on their BOARD and not on the team's needs.

Meanwhile, armchair reactionaries like me just want a year where we aren't starting LBs that are fringe castoffs from other teams or flawed FAs.

IF we can't vent here, where?
