Routine Help & Product Questions Jun 04, 2015

  1. AM routine
  2. wash face with Clean&Clear Daily Pore Cleanser
  3. apply Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Ageing Moisturizer and Serum Duo SPF 20

PM routine * wash face with Clean&Clear Daily Pore Cleanser * remove last traces of makeup with Bioderma Sensibio * every other day apply Paula's Choice Resist Weightless 2% BHA * in-between days apply Olay Moisturizing Lotion Sensitive Skin

  1. I have been using this routine for six months now, except the Paula's Choice BHA, that's been in my routine for two months and I love it!

  2. I included one product at a time after patch testing to make sure I won't have any kind of bad reaction (I have sensitive skin).

  3. I'm questioning the Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Ageing Moisturizer and Serum Duo SPF 20 and the Olay Moisturizing Lotion Sensitive Skin.

  4. The Olay moisturizer with SPF feels too rich for my skin, I get shiny but after 15 minutes or so the shine goes away. What bothers me the most is that it stings my eyes really badly, even though I am very careful when applying it around my eyes. As soon as I use it up I will be switching to the Kiss My Face Spray SPF 30 for both face and body, would this be a good product?

I'm also questioning the Olay Moisturizing Lotion Sensitive Skin. The best I can describe it is meh. I'd fine during spring and summer, but in autumn, especially winter I feel like it's not enough. Is there any other product that is lightweight, affordable and provides moisture? It would be good if it had niacinamide as well since I get PIH easily and I'm pasty pale.

I'm also thinking about maybe including some kind of toner, to benefit my skin even more. I like the Paula's Choice Earth Sourced Toner but it is way out of my budget (especially for so little product you get, at least here in my country). Any thoughts?
