Of course not. I'm not implying that at all. What I'm saying is, the final say must be the captain's, after he has considered all input. This is how leadership works. If he makes the "wrong" decision, he will know soon enough, and if he truly is a mature masculine man, he will own it (take responsibility), rectify it, and learn from it.

If the woman has spent tons of time, energy, and research into a task, she should also get to make decisions herself.

In practice, this is what happens in a harmonious, masculine/feminine relationship. The captain will recognize this and delegate these decisions. Just like in a well-running company, a good leader delegates some decisions.

Correct. I expect all women, even RPW, to shit test men all their lives. It's not a bad thing necessarily, shit tests are natural to women and they're merely tests to make sure the man is always fit to be captain.
