That's part of what eventually killed raiding for me. I used to love it because I would actively seek out guilds or pugs that just go in blind because to me guides, weakauras, etc without even trying to figure it out yourself completely eliminates the fun of any piece of content.

There were groups that would do that pretty commonly right up til around WoD was when it became rare as hell to find and even if you found a group that claimed they did it half of them were full of shit and just wanted to pretend they were going in blind to try and act like they're better than they are instead of just engaging with the content for what it is.

Idk if it's a WoW culture thing or an MMO thing or just what games have become but I hate it.
