They're already making decisions for the rest of us. The current decisions are just like "hey let's put milk in literally everything for no reason".

Also yeah you're right about minimum wage, I was more talking about western countries but yeah there are also tonnes of people in poorer countries barely making enough to sustain themselves because there is no minimum wage. As for lifestyle creep, just no lol. The reason I have to buy clothes & appliances more often and secondhand is because newer products are terribly made because the intent is that you have to keep buying them. Try buying literally anything 30+ years old, the difference in quality is ridiculous.
