I never said there was no difference? I'm saying that there's only so much democrats can fucking do. They aren't trying to end the evils of capitalism in society because the BENEFIT from them. Low wages? They benefit. Democrats literally fund republican and ad campaigns in order to spread republican fascist viewpoints. This is done in an attempt to make Republicans seem out of touch and like actual fascists (which they are), and it has worked, but it also radicalized some previously moderate right wing people. Democrats are NOT a leftist party, they don't care if socialism is better for society because they care too much about the free market to adopt it. From a world politics view point, democrats are center right. If you support dems, you are a right winger.
