5am, stressed to the max about to drive my son 900 miles to college. Husband and son were in a different car a couple minutes ahead of me when I realized son forgot something important at the house. So, I went back alone.
Parked in the driveway, ran into the house, put the stuff in the passenger side but FORGOT TO CLOSE THE DOOR. Once in the driver seat, put car in reverse, then noticed the other door was open. Hopped out totally forgetting it was in reverse....
Raced to the driver side and thought I could hop in quickly and hit the brake. Nope!!
Car rolled backwards faster than you'd expect and it dragged me under it all the way across the street, hit another car and then the front tire rolled over the right side of my body, narrowly missing my neck and head.
Busted 5 ribs on the right side and banged and cut up all over.
