Rundown Edinburgh

We complain because Edinburgh is lovely but should be more so. It's frustrating. That's what people do, they always strive for better. Otherwise what's the point? Besides, how boring would a subreddit of people mooning on about how pleasant things are and what a lovely time they are having be anyway?

And yes, I've lived lots of places, including London which is a pure filthy, depressing bollocks place to be, so like most I've a good grounds for comparison. Don't paint us as parochial or spoilt, it's a capital city and full of people who know the world. I don't understand the bit about no jobs, there's tonnes of jobs. It's small, so you might struggle in certain industries, but I don't think anyone has said there are no jobs.

Edinburgh is far and away the nicest place I've lived. There are reasons it tops best places to live polls and attracts so many tourists and settlers. Which, like presumably everyone else on the sub, is exactly why I live here, and why you thought you might want to.
