Running post first baby

I've no idea if you're speaking as the person who carried the child or not, however as a dad (just had #3) you are in a survival phase of life. If you're tired, and you use whatever energy you do have for runs, you will be diminished at other times.

Prioritise sleep, then diet, then exercise. You've said it like it's a bad thing but running once or twice a week is not you failing, it's you succeeding. If you are Mum you've also been through something incredibly traumatic for your body, go easy on yourself.

Running will be there for you when you come out the other side, just enjoy the baby phase. It won't be long before you realise your baby is gone and in its place a toddler.
