Running with Bad Knees Might Be OK After All

Yeah, but it's a meta analysis, which means they're just doing statistical analysis on other studies that just consists of more statistical garbage. I mean, even the studies themselves show that runners do get OA. It's just not statistically significant from a control. But, did those studies control the sedentary groups for things like BMI? Or, from people who stand all day for work as opposed to sitting? The control groups have so much unknown variables that aren't well controlled for that who knows what the conclusions mean. In the end, no one truly knows if running can cause OA. All these studies show is that right now, it doesn't seem to cause OA in rates significantly above the rest of the population. But, you can't unequivocally say that running doesn't cause OA. Cause, for some people, it probably can and does.
