Rural Catholic church defies Sri Lanka threats, holds Mass

Don't mind the comments, good on you for your attitude. I'm from the middle east and we all "act" like this, I guess posters here would make fun of us too and our martyrs. Many who died had the same attitude, and even islamic Jihad have the same attitude, yet internet warriors would call it "fake bravado" just because they said they would. The west seems to have lost its early Christian zeal a long time ago.

I even had this conversation with my family (if one should go to mass in such circumstances, my parents did in the war and so did I), to sum it up: "Good, directly to Heaven!"

For anyone wondering, being "unsure" of what you'd do in this kind of situation makes it all the more likely that you'll end up like the ending of Silence, it doesn't make you stronger to withstand by being unsure, if that's what you're going with.

Faith untested is without merit.
