Is Russia actively trying to influence the election in Trump's favor? How does this affect voters?

We are currently paying for their military expense, so that they can afford all these crazy social programs without going bankrupt. Then they tell us we are crazy americans for having the biggest military on the planet and paying for healthcare or infrastructure. They're bending us over a barrel because they know they can count on us to protect them.

How is it good foreign policy to let your allies walk all over you?

Say the United States threatens to walk -- suddenly Europe starts pulling its own weight. Their social programs which are so fashionable in the US suddenly become visibly unaffordable. The US can scale back its military or scale up the presence in problematic regions like the South China Sea. Imagine a European military presence akin to the US or China. Game changer.

Say we actually left or are kicked out -- are we really so much more unsafe, for losing some fair weather allies that would never have had our back had we actually needed it? The US provided 2/3rds of the NATO troops to Afghanistan in the war. In my book, if your national defense is 2/3rds American forces you better be giving us something big to make it worthwhile. Instead they give out free money to migrants and cheat our medical research companies out of their profits. Bad deal in my book.
