Russia blocks UK's post-Brexit tariff proposal at WTO

Imagine actually believing the Russians had anything to do with this, and the fact we have Brexit and Trump in the UK and USA isn't to do with our own problems internally.

Blaming Russia is the easy option, and it's one the media want people to buy into to again avoid them (corporations), and the government from being held accountable. It's easy to shift the blame and not take ownership.

They had nothing to do with it. Brexit and Donald Trump are both the result of a desperate electorate that had been screwed over by neoliberalism for decades and were willing to push for change no matter the cost.

The writing has been on the wall ever since Reagan and Thatcher got into office and implemented their policies that put corporate interest ahead of the people, all on the lie of trickle down economics.

It's time people woke up, stopped blaming external actors, and started blaming those who are really responsible. There is literally no proven evidence of Russian interference, and only huge corporations which have a vested interest in the status quo (Facebook, News outlets) have pushed this rubbish out there.

There is no research backing it up. Where is the solid and concrete evidence for these claims?

It's complete bullshit made up to shift the general public's focus away from Westminster, who are really to blame for this shitshow that is Brexit for absolving themselves of accountability and granting a referendum in the first place, and shifting the buck onto Russia.

Here's what's going to happen as a result of this bullshit:

  • Facebook claim there was evidence of meddling (without actually citing evidence)
  • Faux outrage everywhere from the public
  • Government then says social media regulations and internet regulation required
  • The internet becomes more heavily regulated IN YOUR INTERESTS OF SECURITY
  • Social media giants do deals with the government that lead to certain narratives being pushed, probably data harvesting and transferring, which will most likely result in Facebook becoming an online form of ID and used for voting so it's all tracked

And all the irrational idiots who've not even asked for one piece of evidence backed up by a solid study that puts good input into a specific model, and comes to the conclusion that the outcome was shaped by Russian interference, will lap it up out of fear and being lied to because they think the government hasn't got it's own agenda.

They repeat the word evidence multiple times, well where the fuck is it?

In fact, the studies actually done show the complete fucking opposite.

It's time we held those really responsible for account.
