Russia is giving out Russian passports on occupied territories in Ukraine. It did the same thing when annexing Crimea.

Want to clarify first that I do not support the election of Zelenskiy. However, it is a little deceptive to simply say he was backed by the Kremlin.

Moscow probably does view the results of this election favorably; not because Zelenskiy is a Russian agent, but because he is not Poroshenko. Russian aggression really just was not a huge talking point in Zelenskiy’s campaign as much as internal corruption was.

There is really not anything to suggest he has any ties to the Russian government, and in fact the criticisms being help against him would suggest the opposite (his ties with Ihor Kolomoskyi for example).

I’m not disagreeing with you, just suggesting that the way you have worded your post comes off dishonestly.
