Russian-appointed “governor” of Kherson region charged with treason by the Ukrainian authorities

based solely on that report it seems more accurate to say that ukraine acted it’s own best interests by complying in good faith with a US federal investigation. while i’m quite certain that Zelensky didn’t appreciate Trump’s quid pro quo demand, and was eager to cooperate with the investigation to the fullest extent, it seems inaccurate to say that Ukraine itself directly aided in somehow removing Trump. what removed trump was the constitutional limit to his presidential term, and the fact that he lost the election quite plainly. Trumps indictment and impeachment may have influenced the election results, but as an american i believe that if a foreign power directly influences the removal of any lawfully elected leader from office, that foreign power must by definition be an enemy of the united states.
