Since when did Putin listen to his peoples needs/wants before invading ukraine and risking sanctions. It was a sovereign nation with a similar culture. Russia is acting like the scumbag boyfriend by punching his girlfriend if she talks to someone else. The EU was just a bartender asking ukraine if she wanted a drink. She smiles and says yes. Russia gets home punches her and decides to force a chastity belt on her so someone else doesnt lay an oil pipeline in her. Sure he will let his friend Iran do it because they're cool and he gives him money but not that other guy. Then to distract his spousal abuse he asks his friend syria to help. syria starts having trouble with his housemates and was about to be kicked out russia helped black mail and physically kept his friend syria where he was because he threatened to destroy that house. Now he is punching holes that house because they wont let syria in other rooms of the house. Neighbors Iran, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia have friends in the house and its adjacent one. They all start helping their friends because they want the rooms too. When this doesnt solve anything the members of the house start to call the police. but the police is busy taking care of his family since russia convinced his family it wasnt fair to syria for getting kicked out so forcefully. A previous altercation got him a demerit and his wife and daughter dont want any more trouble. The police guy doesnt want to alienate his family so he passively assists but does not complete his full duty according to his friends. All of the neighbors are fucking sick of it after a couple weeks. Now the policeman is voting for whether he should change help syria or not but no one is sure he will follow through or not. in the meantime russia is just getting sore punching holes through his walls and his gf broke up with him but cant get the chastity belt off.
