I think this was the last time we saw Ruth genuinely happy.

Independence was going nowhere, Ruth was the darling of the media, a genuine all round superhero, and the only way was up.

A few hours later, much to her absolute horror I'm sure, Brexit happened and suddenly she has this massive independence problem getting a free second bite at the cherry causing her to twist and turn and having to start acting that Brexit is somehow not so bad for Scotland.

Meanwhile down south, cuddly Cameron resigns followed by two tears of mayhem, as her party rips itself apart, which just gets worse and worse as Brexit gets nearer, even her "Scottish" party (which looks like it's full of a bunch of duds) starts to disintegrate.

Ruth must really hate Brexit.
