Ryan Galletta is one of the writers of the Arkham Origins Script

You're correct to say that WBM isn't RS, but I fail to see why they would even try to be. I would think they would want to distance themselves from the Arkham designs and make something of their own. The fact that they've taken as long as they have indicates to me that they're doing something brand new, because if they were still working in the Arkham engine then they would have been able to pump out three Arkham titles by now.

And while I love the Arkham games I'm personally hoping they turn the page. Forget Arkham. Hell, forget Batman even. Give me something fresh.

I'm also not concerned about WBM's chops. AO was great considering they built it in a year and a half in an engine they weren't familiar with. There's more game development talent in that city than most - as long as they have a good idea and the creative freedom to execute on it they'll do fine.
