A person caused fear in a city. that fear effected everyone. Maybe Public event was a poor word choice. If you got a better one would more then love to hear it.

It happened. The public had to deal with it. Folks were terrorized and it wasnt just the vicitms family that were. It was every single person that lived in that area and town that was.

This type of thing will never stop. Someone is going to want to write a thing for anything because "no one has done it before" or they "got new information and proof"

Ever single "news" thing i see for this is "Laywers of Dahmer victims familys wanting money for new show" writer said he will do a momorial. They go "give us money for the new pain and hurt"

If it was a thing of "we want it gone for emotional issues" fine. But no its "it made crazy ass money. I want the MONEY to sooth my hurt"

so sorry if I cant see whats wrong with someone writing about an event that happened and became a huge issue to the masses and public. So big it became an event.

and incase you dont know what that word means " a thing that happens, especially one of importance" I.e the killer was caught. his deeds were recorded and revealed. He was sent to jail. And killed in there.
