Ryzen 5 + x-plane 11 perf?

possible alternative you could be suggesting, explicitly or implicitly, would be Intel.

Not even close. Again, had you bothered reading and comprehending the original post, you would have noticed he didn't look for alternatives, as he had already ruled out every alternative. He wasn't looking for build ideas. He wasn't looking for comparisons on Intel CPUs. He was looking for numbers. He was looking for how well his choice would fare in X-Plane.

As I mentioned not once but twice, there are no numbers. Nobody has done any benchmarks, tests or put anything on graphs, thus it becomes anecdotal and it becomes a subjective assessment of the capabilities of the CPU in relation to his previous hardware and in a general sense. X-Plane does not multi-thread very well, the entire point and selling point of Ryzen. Ryzen isn't that good a single-core performance, even compared to his old product, thus I said multiple times, this was just about keeping his expectations in place.

I didn't suggest Intel. I didn't allude to Intel. OP said he didn't want to give Intel money and nobody was talking about Intel, until he threw up that pointless benchmark because he somehow read "Intel" in my post. Thus, it was pointless.

So, let's imagine OP wanted to buy Intel instead and see what kind of performance can be had in this price range...oh wait, OP already did that, but you said that comparison was invalid.

Yeah, let's change the narrative post to fit our argument. Let's assume OP is a bit of a muppet, like you and want to read things into posts that aren't there, like I was "possible alternative you could be suggesting, explicitly or implicitly, would be Intel."

And if OP actually did change his mind and wanted Intel suggestions, he would say so, with actual words. His posts are clearly in defence of Ryzen because he also lacked basic reading comprehension of what I said and immediately assumed I was trying to sell him on Intel. Nowhere did he ask for Intel, nowhere did he ask for alternatives, all he did was constantly defend his purchase. That's it.
