The 1080 came out 8 months ago, going on 9+ by the time Vega launches - Nvidia can definitely drop their prices with minimal complaints. Also this video doesn't confirm it's faster than the 1080.. I personally think it will be faster (at least the biggest iteration will be) but the video doesn't confirm it.

People below keep saying things like "The GTX 1080 can't do 60 FPS in ANY area of the Game at 4k Ultra."

But it actually can so I'm not sure why they are saying that.

There are certain maps, like Endor where the performance is worse and there are definitely areas where it dips but as seen in the second video there are also areas where it's running at 80fps.

It's great that people are getting excited about Vega - it definitely seems like AMD is firing on all cylinders and it's going to be a great card.. but making stuff up to hype the card is what leads people to be disappointed and it's also really lame.
