It’s an amazing experience to see classic movies on the big screen, especially if you’ve never seen them before. You can watch a movie the way it was meant to be seen.

In theory I agree but I've had nothing but bad experiences at "classic" movies.

A local theater did a Hitchcock series and it was mainly an older crowd so we did North by Northwest and Suspicion. Imagine watching a movie surrounded by 20 Grandmas constantly asking the person next to them "Who is that?" "What did he say" "I thought he was married to her".

Last night, we attended an outdoor screening of The Hands of Orlac, with the score being down live by a local band. It was mostly amazing, but really ruined by about half of the crowd bursting out laughing every time someone slightly overacted - which was about every 2 minutes considering it's a silent film.
