It’s been a good start to the day! I put together IKEA furniture without once swearing, decapitating myself or accidentally summoning a demon from the 4th dimension of hell!! So proud! How’s your day going?

Good for your son for noticing and saying something!

Probably the only one who will notice and say something will be my housekeeper. The old finish never quite looked clean because I don't think it's been refinished since it was built, or just waxed over the old finish. Now when she goes in, it will look fresh and clean when she's done. She'd mentioned a few times that she felt she wasn't doing a good job on the kitchen floor, but it was getting pretty bad. So, now that's done and the kitchen looks extra sparkly! Second coat done and ready for one more and then I'm finished! :D Yay, for getting dirty jobs we don't want to do over and done with!
