I'm not rich by any means, but I've seen this discussion come up before and I don't really get it. Switch Online is like a little over 1 dollar per month, does that need justifying? If I play even 30 minutes of Smash or Mario Kart in a month, I'd be fine with that fee, I play a bunch more in a month though. It's optional anyways, not everyone plays multiplayer games, and that's fine.

On top of that they're supplying us with the NES/SNES games, I don't see how there's a discussion. I understand their online matchmaking is subpar, but other consoles charge for their online at a rate that's 3x the cost and they do have server issues from time to time, theirs isn't perfect either.
