It’s giveaway time with ASUS!

I wanted to have VR, so I decided on a ~$700 build after lurking on various subs for a couple years. Lots of googling and lots of reddit later, finally built it Jan 1 this year just to find out something is wrong with one of the components, but not sure which and don't know what to do about it :D Originally the ram was bad so I RMA'd that, but the 590 might be bad too and the shipping costs make the RMA for that not worth it. My solution has been to underclock it by 50MHz and it seems stable enough for me. Though the occasional "crash" still happens where screens go black and peripherals lose power. Been harder to google that because all the articles that come up talk about booting to a black screen, not crashing. May take it into a computer store for diagnosis. Biggest lesson, surprisingly enough, buying the in store warranty even for 2 years would have solved a lot of headaches. It's worth it for your first build when you can't test your components on another build.
