I dislike how Tania tries to paint Syngin as racist because he was born during an apartheid. This wasn't his choice, yet she makes it a point to tell everyone she meets as if he is somehow infected by his culture and she is his ultimate savior.
My husband never grew up near POC either in his Communist country, and in no way would I bad mouth him because of something out of his control. After the Soviet Union collapsed, my husband met his first black person during college and said everyone was overwhelmingly excited.
As someone who proclaims to travel to so many countries, seeing the way she tackles the situation makes me think she's ignorant to other peoples cultures and blames the victim.
